As we move towards the start of New School Replacement project being funded by the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), it is getting very exciting for our community and the children of our school. From what I know at this time, the modular units will be re-located starting in the month of June 2019 to make the room for new construction. I understand while the construction kicks in, it will be a little inconvenient for parents and school visitors, however the Facilities department and administration wants to keep thh safety factors of our children and employees at the forefront. Dear Parents/Guardians
Blackwater Community School and its offcials have been working very closely with the Gila River Health Care Department (GRHC), Office of Emergency and Management, Tribal Education department and Honorable Governor Lewis' office. We are also in touch with BIE and ADE on weekly basis for exchanging information and updates. BCWS has started educational services to all our students since July 22nd, 2020. If you have not enrolled your child , please do so at your earliest convenience. Feel free to call the school at (520)215-5859 to get help in enrolling your child.
Should there be a decision to close the school, we will make extra efforts to notify all our parents and guardians through Robo-phone calls, School website, and school FACE BOOK site.
